Brendan Bostock

General Manager. Marketer. Builder.

I'm the General Manager at Liorn Support and Care Services, where my remit covers automation, marketing, and compliance and governance. Day to day that means removing friction: finding the manual, repetitive work that eats our office staff and support crew alive, and replacing it with process and software that holds up under audit.

That job sits on top of more than ten years in marketing and business operations. I was Head of Marketing at SWISH Sales Coaching, and before that ran marketing and design coordination across Tradezone, EzyDVD, Powerwave Accessories and Pinnacle Films under one parent group — a crash course in running several very different brands at once. Earlier still, I was a Digital Content Producer at AutoGuru. Different industries, same pattern: work out what actually moves the number, then build the system that keeps it moving.

What I build

The Bond degree was in games and digital media design, so the technical side never really switched off. When an idea won't leave me alone, I build it and put it in front of real traffic.

The largest of those is the AI SEO Generator — a tool that takes one topic and produces a complete pillar-and-cluster content strategy, written and published. It runs live on solarinsights.com.au and disabilityinsights.com.au, so the results are there to be judged.

Alongside it: data visualisation for NDIS participants, turning their own support data into the supporting evidence the NDIA needs to see for better funding outcomes; a video downloader for YouTube, Instagram and TikTok; chatbots and codebots; and the occasional browser-based game — the one on the homepage, for example.

Away from the desk

I've been a musician far longer than I've been a manager. Years of it were spent on the road with The Bostocks, a run that brought the band two Golden Guitar nominations. These days I write and record part time under the name The Modern History (formerly Super Nudist) — you can hear it on SoundCloud.

Management, marketing, code, songs: the throughline is the same. Build things that matter, built to last.
